Description:

Our client has an immediate need for an Access Management & Data Governance Analyst , who is responsible for ensuring that users have appropriate access to systems and data, while safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with at least 2-3 years of experience
• Strong understanding of identity management concepts, including user provisioning, access certification, and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Experience with Excel
• Experience with Database/Reporting knowledge
• Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC) Backgrounds as it relates to Unified Access Management
• Experience in gathering requirements and working directly with business and technical teams

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day access reviews and IAM analyst-type work (non-technical)
• Focus on spreadsheets, process adherence, reporting, and SOX compliance
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and workflows.
• Assist in the setup of workflows, roles, entitlements, and policies to enforce access governance.
• Administer and manage user access rights to enterprise systems and applications.
• Implement and maintain role-based access control (RBAC), least privilege principles, and segregation of duties (SoD).
• Conduct regular access reviews and certification campaigns to ensure compliance.
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes from an access management perspective.
• Monitor and analyze access logs to detect and investigate anomalies.
• Support the development and enforcement of data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
• Classify and catalog data assets based on sensitivity, ownership, and usage.
• Collaborate with data stewards, owners, and custodians to maintain data quality and integrity.
• Assist with the implementation of data governance tools and platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation).
• Participate in data lineage and metadata management initiatives.
• Ensure access and data management practices align with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
• Support internal and external audits by providing evidence and remediation actions.
• Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies related to access and data
