Description
Join our innovative team for the following position: Our client, located in Lawrenceville, NJ, is seeking a Sr. SOA Architect. The successful candidate will work in collaborative team environment with Developers, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, and Product Managers to understand and refine requirements and specifications of new Web Services. The candidate will establish Schema and Security Protocols to be used for implementing new Web Services, as well as design and prototype new multi-tiered application functionality for Web Services based on XML for financial applications. The candidate will adhere to appropriate industry standards and best practices, software development methodologies and process flows for Web Services and associated frameworks; review and sign-off all related technical documentation, including high-level and detailed-level designs and software implementation; participate in design and code reviews; ensure valid prototyping and unit testing. The candidate will adhere to established coding standards and adopt to the software development methodologies in compliance with the established SDLC process flow. Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field - 8-10 years multi-tier IT development experience as a Java Developer - 4+ years as an Architect - Strong experience with Web Services architecture, Web Service design (SOAP, WSDL), including implementation and use in a high-throughput, commercial environment - Financial Services industry knowledge a must - Experience with XML based financial data exchange protocols and specifications (such as MDDL, FIX, etc.) - Experience with multi-tiered J2EE/PLSQL large-scale applications leveraging open source frameworks (such as Struts, Spring, etc.) and common design patterns - Excellent knowledge of HTTP/Web Service protocols, especially SOAP - Excellent knowledge of XML and related technologies (such as XSLT, JAX-WS, JAX-RPC, etc.) - Excellent understanding of Web Security (such as Web Services Security, PKI, etc.) - Solid data design skills, as well as strong understanding of system architecture - Strong understanding of OOA/OOP, including advanced knowledge of Java 5 or Java 6 - Experience with systems analysis and functional design, along with a thorough knowledge of database concepts, relational database design, data modeling and system architecture, design principles and system development methodologies (such as UML) - Excellent written/verbal communication (including White-Boarding) skills - Experience with Oracle WebLogic and/or WebSphere a plus When Hired: - ConsultUSA will invest in you by providing training to enable you to grow and diversify your skill set to keep abreast of the latest technologies - ConsultUSA will work closely with you to develop an exciting career path of your choosing, focusing on your key strengths - You will work within a dynamic team environment gaining invaluable experience - You will be a part of a growing organization focused on success and empowerment How to Apply: - For consideration, email MS Word resumes to Amanda@consultusa.com - Please include position number 5561 in the subject line when applying ConsultUSA is an Equal Opportunity Employer
