Description
Join our innovative team for the following position: Our client located in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Business Analyst. The successful candidate will collaborate with business, marketing, technical and design teams to develop requirements, prioritize enhancements, translate into BRDs and FRDs and drive projects to completion. Perform complex business problem solving. This will require a significant capacity for strategic thinking and quantitative analysis, as well as an outstanding ability to communicate both verbally and in writing. Conduct analytical review meetings as required with business stakeholders and domain experts to acquire the details to write functional specifications. Work closely with customer organization, development, quality assurance and project management to develop project scope and estimates. Work with minimal supervision, to deliver on schedule, and to coordinate and prioritize multiple job requests. Manage user acceptance testing process with key stakeholders. Define, track and improve key information technology metrics. Conduct competitive analysis and develop a strong understanding of the industry and our partners to identify opportunities to improve the product. Requirements: - Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field - 5 years direct experience developing enterprise software, with special consideration given to experience in the area of workflow and SaaS based applications - Product Management or product design experience - Financial Services Experience - Loss mitigation experience preferred - Experience developing Internet products and technologies - Experience with all aspects of the System Development Lifecycle; knowledge of successful software development methodologies and best practices - Must be extremely detail oriented, a good problem solver, a good listener, articulate (in both writing and verbal communications), and able to handle projects alone and within a group - Positive attitude, negotiation skills, strong written and oral communication skills are also required - Special consideration given to experience in the area of workflow, rules, SaaS based and highly configurable applications - Strong understanding of technologies and products that are used to assist in the product management process, including Sharepoint/Wiki, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Applications Why Pittsburgh? http://www.consultusa.com/whypittsburgh.html When Hired: - ConsultUSA will invest in you by providing training to enable you to grow and diversify your skill set to keep abreast of the latest technologies - ConsultUSA will work closely with you to develop an exciting career path of your choosing, focusing on your key strengths - You will work within a dynamic team environment gaining invaluable experience - You will be a part of a growing organization focused on success and empowerment How to Apply: - For consideration, email MS Word resumes to Amanda@consultusa.com - Please include position number 5520 in the subject line when applying ConsultUSA is an Equal Opportunity Employer
