Mark J. Balish has over 25 years of Marketing, Sales, Executive Leadership, Software Development, Business Process Analysis, Business Analysis and Project Management experience in the IT industry. After a successful management and executive career with XLConnect and Digital Equipment Corporation, in 1997 Mark founded ConsultUSA, Inc., an IT staffing, training, and solutions company focused on providing professional consulting services to the IT industry, including many Fortune 500 companies.

In late-1997, he teamed with Mr. Walter Bowman to establish PMCentersUSA, a professional training and consulting company and a PMI® Charter Global Registered Education Provider providing a Master’s Certificate in Project Management program. In 2007, PMCentersUSA became and Endorsed Education Provider for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBATM) and added business analysis as a training focus. Under Mark’s leadership these organizations have grown significantly. In 2005, the cumulative revenue of ConsultUSA, Inc. and PMCentersUSA grew by 101%. While standing alone, both organizations have highly unique value propositions within the U.S. market, working together as solutions partners. The cumulative value and synergy of both organizations is unparalleled in the industry. Mark has been the catalyst for the national expansion of these two companies, working together and leveraging each other’s resources and core competencies to ensure each new city and university affiliation obtains what is required for success. We now deliver complete solutions in project management and business analysis offering online, public and private training. The Center also provides advanced project management courses, and consulting/mentoring services to assist clients in turning “vision to reality” in association with numerous major US universities including:

PMCentersUSA was named the Professional Development Provider of the Year by the Project Management Institute in 2006. Mark regularly publishes articles to educate senior executives on market trends and their impact on their business. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and his Master of Business Administration from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School also from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2004 Mark graduated from the Entrepreneurial Fellowship Program at the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. In 2007 Mark Graduated from Carnegie Mellon’s, Tepper School of Business, and Entrepreneurship through Small Business Acquisition.
